Proposal for a didactic model to improve mathematical competence in primary school teachers

The objective of this research was to propose a didactic model based on neuromathematics as an alternative improve teaching skills for the area Mathematics at primary level. approach applied in qualitative. results were obtained through ECE reports and questionnaire, which it evidenced that teachers presented deficient level dimensions Preparation, Strategies Emotional Affective Domain mathematics, reason proposed contribute solution difficulties presented. In conclusion, will develop mathematical competence teachers, allowing domain preparation teaching, have theoretical foundations necessary adequate planning, management evaluation process; strategies, they be able apply strategies according development students affective-emotional sphere, organize implement appropriate environments positive attitude towards mathematics promoted.
